These cookies are essential for the platform to function. They cannot be disabled without preventing core functionality.

  • wordpress_logged_in_* — Set when you log in to your subscriber account. This cookie identifies your authenticated session and expires after 30 days. Without this cookie, you cannot access your editor or dashboard.
  • wordpress_sec_* / wordpress_test_cookie — Standard WordPress security and session cookies used to verify that your browser accepts cookies and to validate your login session.

2.2 Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with the platform in aggregate. GA4 sets the following cookies:

  • _ga — Distinguishes unique users. Expires after 2 years.
  • _ga_<container_id> — Maintains session state for GA4. Expires after 2 years.

GA4 data is anonymized and aggregated. We do not use GA4 to build individual profiles. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

2.3 Third-Party Cookies (Embedded Media)

When a subscriber’s EPK page embeds third-party media — such as a SoundCloud or MixCloud audio player, or a YouTube or Vimeo video — those services may set their own cookies. We do not control these cookies. Please refer to the privacy and cookie policies of the relevant services:

We do not use advertising or targeting cookies. We do not serve ads on the Showcard platform, and we do not share data with advertising networks for retargeting or behavioral profiling purposes.
